Our Story

Hey I’m Jodi! I’m technically in charge, but would be nothing without the help and support of my amazing family! Aside from being my emotional support and biggest cheerleader, my husband Jeremy builds and fixes all the things! He keeps my creative brain in touch with reality, but would literally do anything to bring my visions to life. You’ll see my silly kids helping with deliveries from time to time, and my mom is truly a superstar who helps me clean, set up and go on shopping trips for new furniture (job perk!) And then there’s Gertie and Mable-our 2 rescue dogs who are there with snuggle fuel to keep things operating smoothly.

I am often asked how I got into the rental business, and I’m not sure I have one defining moment that brought me here! My whole life I’ve always loved planning parties (always way more detailed and intricate than they needed to be), being creative and helping people. I’ve been an occupational therapist for over 20 years and I think the same ideas that led me down that path led me to the rental industry. I truly love helping people build and create meaningful, authentic and functional experiences. ! I also love shopping, design, and creating beautiful spaces where people can relax while celebrating and spending quality time together.

Fun Fact: My husband and I got married in 2007 at the Cinema Theater in the South Wedge neighborhood of Rochester, NY and held our reception at the Historic German House (we served garbage plates and soft serve ice cream because it was our day and those are things we loved). Back then there weren’t nearly as many choices as there are now for wedding decor and rentals (thankfully-how do you guys choose? There are so many options!), but we knew we wanted something fun, different and full of love. It was the best day ever so I included some pics (our photographer was Heather McKay).
